Some celebs do well with the whole fame thing... Others, not so much.

On Monday, Gerard Butler returned to his hotel in London, where he's promoting The Ugly Truth to find photogs and fans. But instead of rushing inside, the handsome star had fun signing autographs, taking pics and generally hamming it up.

Meanwhile, his co-star Katherine Heigl took one step outside, spotted the crowd and turned around immediately.
