Piers Morgan Keeps Coy Over Larry King Slot

July 28 2010, Published 2:19 p.m. ET
Piers Morgan is widely thought to be a lock for Larry King's 9 p.m. time slot on CNN after the veteran interviewer ends his 25-year run this autumn, but he is not saying a thing.
The British former newspaperman refused to discuss the subject on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno last night, saying, "I can't actually talk about it. All I can say is... I just signed a three-year contract with America's Got Talent."

When Jay Leno tried to extract more information out of him, Piers answered that he was "sorry to be cryptic" about the issue, reports Radar Online.
British Piers, 45, has reportedly been wooed by CNN with a multi-million dollar deal to rejigger the evening slot, after Larry's time at the helm.
