Pink Shows Off Her Softer, Happier Self

Pink opens up to Women's Health magazine in the January/February issue about her past relationships, her opinion of Britney Spears and lets us meet Chi-Chi Marie, her alter ego.
Pink shows off a simpler, softer and dare we say sexier side on the cover of Women's Health and that new look has taken some time to create.
“Last year, when I was going through my separation from competitive motocross racer Carey Hart, I was in Malibu running every day just to keep from burying myself in the sand — to get out, feel the ocean," Pink shares. "You’ve got to make yourself feel good at times like that. Even if it’s a pain in the ass and you hate working out, the endorphins and the stress you bring down help. You feel strong, healthy. You feel good about yourself, your jeans fit.”
Even while making her album Funhouse, she continued to feel good about herself and says she wasn't angry at Carey.
“No, I wasn’t," she admits. "Long-term relationships are a layered onion," she explains. "There’s something about him I love, and I want him to be OK, even if he’s not with me.”
Pink also doesn't have any bad blood with Britney Spears.
“I’ve always liked Britney," she says. "I swear to God, I’ve stuck up for Britney since the beginning. She and I have talked about it. My point was, ‘Stop comparing me to her, because we’re different animals.’ ”

With her new look and new attitude, is Pink her own version of Sasha Fierce (Beyoncé's alter ego)?
“ No!" she exclaims. "Pink is just me. Chi-Chi Marie is my Sasha Fierce. My girlfriends in New York named me that. All of their middle names are Marie. Mine’s Beth, but to them I’m Chi-Chi Marie.”
