Emily Maynard searched for love on both The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, but it wasn’t until she reconnected with an old friend, auto-industry consultant Tyler Johnson, and married him in 2014 that she found her happily ever after. Now the busy mom of two — 11-year-old daughter Ricki, whose dad, NASCAR driver Ricky Hendrick, died in 2004, and 1-year-old son Jennings — is looking forward to an active summer at the pool and lake in Charlotte, N.C., as well as another baby, due in about two months!
"As soon as Jennings was born, I couldn’t wait to have another one! It’s a blessing, and we’re so excited," the author of best-selling memoir I Said Yes said.
We caught up with Emily, 30, at the OK! & Huggies Little Swimmers Disposable Swimpants Playdate at Myrtle Turtle Beach in Carowinds’ Carolina Harbor Waterpark. The delicious snacks came from Treat House, and a wet and wild time was had by all!
