POSH: "I WAS NERVOUS ABOUT AMERICANS"

In an exclusive interview with parade.com, Victoria Posh Spice Beckham, who recently made the move from her native London to Los Angeles with her husband, soccer star David Beckham, reveals that she was a little uneasy about how the American public would receive her.I actually was very nervous about whether the American people were going to get my sense of humor, the 33-year-old mother of three sons confesses. It's very British - very dry. Victoria, who has become fast friends with Hollywood royalty like Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, also says she doesn't take herself too seriously. I enjoy sending myself up. I'm very aware of people's preconceptions because of the pictures they see and the stories they read.
