Mariah Carey, expecting twins, almost received a double birthday present today as she told fans on Twitter that she started having contractions and rushed to the hospital, but it turned out to be a false alarm.
“So #dembabies really wanted 2 celebrate w/us/share the anniversary! I started having contractions last night..went 2 the hospital-“ Mariah tweeted early this morning, referring to her birthday as her anniversary.

After heading to the hospital, Mariah explained that her twins just weren’t quite ready to be delivered.
