Prince Charles on Doctor Who?

Who says royalty has to be stiff?

Tune in to the BBC in 2010, and you could see Prince Charles appearing on Doctor Who, a popular British TV show about a time-traveling adventurer.

While the show's executive producer Russell T. Davies jokingly labeled the Prince a "miserable swine" after Clarence House turned down the TV invite, a spokeswoman for the house, the Prince's official residence, says Chaz could still appear on the program.

"We did receive a request from Doctor Who's producers,"  Retuers quotes the rep as saying. "It was not turned down by Prince Charles but by a Clarence House official. We receive hundreds of requests and he doesn't see them all."

"It's not uncommon for people to resubmit requests with different criteria and if it was resubmitted we would look at it again," she adds.
