The eye-popping hat Princess Beatrice wore to Prince William and Kate Middleton's royal nuptials has three more days until it finds a new home, and it is certainly worth a lot of money! The towering chapeau has reached about $33,000 on eBay.
Beatrice and her sister Princess Eugenie, the daughters of Sarah Ferguson who was famously snubbed from the affair, certainly made a statement at West Minster Abbey on April 29, wearing loud hats that had everyone buzzing.
The hat hoopla was so high, that a humorous Facebook page was dedicated to the fashion statement.
So Beatrice decided to auction the headpiece for charity.
Sarah confirmed to Oprah Winfrey last week that her daughter was "putting it up on eBay to auction it for UNICEF and for Children in Crisis."

In the eBay description, via PopEater, Princess Beatrice writes, "I've been amazed by the amount of attention the hat has attracted. It's a wonderful opportunity to raise as much money as possible for two fantastic charities. I hope whoever wins the auction has as much fun with the hat as I have."
