Not only are Jon and Kate Gosselin taking a permanent break by filing for divorce yesterday, their TLC reality show will also be on hiatus. The network announced today that next Monday's Jon & Kate Plus 8 will be a package of clips, with the next all-new episode not airing until Aug. 3. The couple just announced on last night's show that they would be separating.
The L.A. Times reports that sources close to the show said the production break is the network's idea.

Yesterday Kate filed for divorce in Pennsylvania, but while the couple might be living out some aspects of their split in public, those papers will remain sealed and away from the media, TMZ reports.
The site says court clekrs were called in and told by the head of the department and were told not to release the papers under any circumstances.
