Prostitute Walked Into Own Deathtrap By Inviting Jack The Ripper Into Her Home

Jack the Ripper will forever be known as the unidentified serial killer that tormented London in 1988s. At the time, prostitutes and other women in the area were told to look out for the murderer who was known to target innocent females in the poor, Whitechapel district of London.
One victim, a prostitute, knew all about the Ripper, and yet the moment she encountered him and agreed to take him up to her room, she did not realize she was walking straight into a deathtrap.
“She read the newspaper. She was informed about Jack the Ripper, about the murders. Whoever she ran across in the street that night did not set off any alarm bells, why? Because he looked nothing like who the press was telling us to be on the lookout for,” explains Ripper Confidential author, Tim Wescott, in a trailer for REELZ’s new docuseries, Murder Made Me Famous: Jack the Ripper.
Jack the Ripper brutally slaughtered at least five female prostitutes, but was never identified.
