Toronto is such a cute city! One thing I love the most is that like NYC, it’s so walkable, full of shops, sidewalk cafes and has a great mix of modern and historic architecture. This week it also has a healthy dose of celebrity.A few quick notes so far...-

Terrance Howard’s movie with Jodie Foster premiered at the festival opening night. The film is called “The Brave One,” but on the red carpet the Oscar winner said, “I’m a chicken,” and admitted he was afraid of the dark till he was 25-years-old!

-I think is staying at the hotel where I’m staying. Walking back I saw her and her Candian NFL-player beau getting into an SUV. I like that couple. Hopefully having a good guy like him has softened the blow of seeing her longtime boyfriend about to become a father with his new girlfriend .

-I’m told , who’s promoting his film “Michael Clayton” at the festival, is bringing a date - 28-year-old Sarah Larson. The pretty brunette was also on George’s arm at the recent Venice and Deuville film festivals and had become his regular companion since they met Sarah while she was waitressing at MOON Nightclub in Las Vegas. George’s friend Matt Damon met his wife Luciana when she was a waitress in Miami - and then he married her, had a kid and has looked utterly blissful since. But, is Sarah a film festival fling -or the girl who can convert George from his longtime confirmed bachelor status.
