Pets are the way to Rachael Leigh Cook’s heart.
“I like to spend time with my dogs Sunny and Cooper,” the 29-year-old actress tells me. “We can learn a lot from dogs. They’re so present. They don’t have the life span that we do, but I’m sure it feels like longer to them because they’re just so ‘here.’”
The actress, who is married to actor Daniel Gillies, 32, rescued the pups. She feels strongly about saving animals through Rally To Rescue, which supports private rescue organizations.
