After tonight, American Idol will be down to two finalists. But the show will also be facing a future with one less judge!
Randy Jackson tells E! News that he's quitting and moving on to other projects.

"Yo! Yo! Yo! To put all of the speculation to the rest, after 12 years of judging on American Idol I have decided it is time to leave after this season," he says.

"I am very proud of how we forever changed television and the music industry. It's been a life changing opportunity but I am looking forward to focusing on my company Dream Merchant 21 and other business ventures."

Randy was the last original judge left on the popular singing competition.
What's in store for the future? Rumors have been rampant that the show plans to scrap the other judges, Keith Urban, Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey, and start from scratch.
