OK! Exclusive: Real Housewives Of Potomac Star Katie Rost Reveals Pregnancy Shocker!

Just like many other women out there, Katie Rost dreamed of her happily ever after. However, her's only last for a very short time.

The newest member of the Bravo family opened up to OKMagazine.com about her decision to leave her husband when she was only 4 months pregnant. Her ex is her college sweetheart and best friend, James Orsini, so it was not an easy decision to leave him.

“It was really hard, but I knew that it was the right thing to do,” she admitted. “I knew that I needed my mom and that there was no way I would be able to get through the pregnancy if I didn’t have a lot of support."

After making the difficult decision, Katie thought that moving back to her hometown Potomac was the most logical thing to do. “I just had to come home, so it was great because I didn’t have to deal with the stress of my marriage and I could just kind of be with my mom and my aunts and just relax and be in a tranquil environment. That was more important to me.”

Describing the divorce process as “embarrassing,” she said that even though things didn't turn out as planned, they “both wanted to make it work.” Luckily, the one good thing that they are working out is their co-parenting which she described as “really good” and that her ex is a “great father.”

Despite their divorce, she admitted she will still love him "to death.”
