Hello everyone! This last week Alene Too in Boca Raton hosted a trunk show for my Lea Black Handbags, and it was a great success.

Besides being a boutique that carries an amazing inventory of different designer names and styles of clothing and couture, the clients that showed up to support me and my collection were all very personable, kind, and fun. The ladies that work at the store were all amazing! I would recommend stopping by. They are located at 3013 Yamato Road, #20, Boca Raton, FL 33434. Telephone is 561-394-0899.

Halloween is less than a week away! I love it, and I’m sure all of you have some of your own super fun plans in mind. One of the most popular ways to get in the holiday spirit is with some spooky makeup!

While I don’t have much experience in selecting the finest costume makeup on the market, I am well aware of the dangers these products can pose to our skin. From allergic reactions to a clogged-pore aftermath, you’re playing a game of Russian roulette with your complexion if you cheap out on anything you’re putting on your face.

If you are taking the plunge for the sake of a night of entertainment (totally understandable!), there are steps you can take to minimize the damage.

First, makes sure to wash your face as soon as you get home. If you went out for a night of fun, the chances are that your makeup isn’t the only thing hurting your skin. Intense dancing, salty hors d’oeuvres, and alcoholic beverages are all ghouls when it comes to dehydration. Dehydration is terrible for your skin, whose moisture comes from the inside out. Combined with harsh, dry fall weather—we’re going to need some intense recovery!

That’s where I come in. My skin-revitalizing daily face wash (check it out here) is the perfect treatment to ensure your skin makes a full, fast recovery!

Be sure to stay hydrated all night. Have a safe and fun holiday!
