Brittany Snow tackles mental illness in Call Me Crazy: A Five Film, which debuts Saturday at 8 p.m. ET on Lifetime.

The Pitch Perfect star, 27, plays a person suffering from schizophrenia.

“It was the most rewarding and challenging experience I've had in many years,” she tells me. “I did a lot of research and really wanted to make sure that I was portraying the illness in the right way. It’s a subject very near and dear to me, so it was a huge honor to play.”

In fact, if Brittany wasn’t an actress, she could see herself counseling others.

“I love psychology,” she says. “I maybe would have worked in that field.”
