Could wedding bells ring in 2013 for Simon Cowell and Carmen Electra?
Not so fast, but The X Factor judge, 53, confirmed to Ryan Seacrest that they are dating.
“She's not my girlfriend,” Simon said Wednesday during On Air with Ryan Seacrest. “We're people who date. She's adorable, isn't she?”
Earlier this month, Carmen, 40, beams when asked about their relationship during the launch of Chinese Laundry by Kristin Cavallari held at Avenue in NYC.
“Things are great,” the Ohio-bred bombshell, who is relaunching her music career, tells me. “He has a big heart. He does. He likes to mentor, and he has a big heart. I think he’s adorable.”

Carmen broke off her four-year engagement to guitarist Rob Patterson earlier this year. She was previously married to Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist Dave Navarro from 2003-2007, and NBA star Dennis Rodman from 1998-1999.
Meanwhile, never-wed Simon also ended his engagement to makeup artist Mezhgan Hussainy earlier this year. He previously dated TV host Terri Seymour from 2004-2008.
Catch Simon on the season finale of The X Factor, which airs tonight at 8 p.m. ET on Fox. Hm, will Carmen be there?
