When Carly Rae Jepsen needed to put a guy on blast in the remix of her single Tonight I’m Getting Over You, she dialed up music’s #1 bad girl Nicki Minaj.

“Nicki was perfect for the song, because she is sexy and powerful,” the Call Me Maybe crooner, 27, who is dating singer-songwriter Matthew Koma, tells me this week in advance of her BleauLive performance taking place at Fontainebleau Miami Beach on Friday.
“Ending a relationship takes all the confidence you've got. And it's such a breakup anthem that the song didn't feel finished without her.”

"It’s a fun thing to think about," Carly says. "Usually, I take it a year at a time. I do this thing where I have this bed sheet, and I pin it to the wall. I get markers, and draw out this map of what’s next, and what I have coming. It always ends up being completely different from my plans. I’ve learned, if anything, to expect the unexpected."
