Deadline.com is reporting that Ryan — with the help of his Glee co-writers Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan — is writing the script for the movie musical, which he will direct and produce alongside Gwyneth, who will be making her producing debut.
The project, in collaboration with Sony Pictures, came out of a dinner that Ryan shared at the Soho House in L.A. in December with Reese, Gwyneth and Cameron, who wanted to do something fun together.
