Who will be the next Regis Philbin? After the TV host announced yesterday he'll be retiring from Live with Regis and Kelly, Ryan Secreast has been speculated to be in the running for his replacement.

According to Extra sources, ABC is interesting in making a big deal with the American Idol host.
Ryan's contract with AI will be up for the first time in years, so now would be the time.
Since ABC was able to land Ryan for Dick Clark's Rockin' New Year's Eve, Extra reports there's a good chance they could secure him for Regis' role and other primetime jobs.

"Regis is one of the guys I looked up to all my career," Ryan previously told Extra, adding, "I think he's fantastic."
But Ryan isn't the only man in the reported running for Regis' job.
