Whoops.
Friday, Green Day lead singer, Billie Joe Armstrong, had a bit of a meltdown when his band's time was cut short at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas. After a profanity-ridden rant and a dig at Justin Bieber, Billie Joe smashed his guitar and stalked off stage.

As it turns out, the band's time was actually not cut short, and Green Day released a statement today apologizing for Billie Joe's behavior and announcing that he has entered rehab.

Billie Joe was recently hospitalized in Italy for undisclosed reasons, but appeared to be back in form Sept. 6, when he performed at the MTV Video Music Awards. It isn't known yet what he is seeking treatment for; Billie Joe was arrested for DUI in 2003 and has acknowledged some drug use in the past but now shuns them.
We're all wishing Billie Joe good luck and good health.
