OK! NEWS: CHARLIE SHEEN HEADED TO THE SLAMMER

Charlie is eligible for work release, an official at the Aspen, Colo., jail told TMZ, which means he could get a job in Aspen, where he would spend his days, and then come back to the jail to sleep at night.

Charlie is scheduled to appear in court on Monday to plea-bargain his case, and the judge may declare that he be on work release.

Following the judge's ruling, the ball moves into the sheriff's court — who is left to decide if Charlie meets the criteria for work release.

According to TMZ, a work release would require that Charlie work at a productive job in the community and would give him a daytime pass.
