Report: Donny & Marie Returning to TV

According to an item in the Hollywood Reporter, Marie Osmond and her brother Donny, who have already had two TV shows together in the past, could be ready for their third try at small-screen success.

Whether the proposed new show would be like either of their previous TV outings — 1976's variety special The Donny & Marie Show or their 1998 talk show Donny & Marie — or if it will be some new form for the camera-friendly brother-sister team like a reality show, is not yet known.

What is known for sure is that Marie, whose star rose once again recently when she muscled her way to a fantastic third-place finish on Dancing With the Stars, and her brother will be performing together this summer for a string of concerts in Las Vegas.
