As for now, the Step Up 3D star admits he's looking for new projects, but really enjoyed working with the cast and crew of the ABC Family hit.

"It was fun, it was hot! It was like a 105 degrees in Austin and very sticky, but we made it through and it was fun," Rick said of shooting the show in Texas. "The cast is great and it’s a good storyline, from the books by Sara Shepard, so I enjoyed it."

"But I’m out there looking for something else," he added. "Dabbing in the animation world myself, producing something, so we’ll see how that goes."

Rick said that although dance helped him nab roles in both Step Up 3D and The Lying Game, he's looking to delve deeper into his career.

"Dance kind of helped me score the role, but I’m more of an actor than a dancer," Rick told us of whether or not he'll continue showing off his moves. "I grew up dancing as a hobby, but acting is more of my profession."

"I’m sure any guy like me would love to do a superhero flick. I really like the idea of doing a movie like Deadpool, but we’ll see," he explained. "I like drama, I like comedy. Anything that can show my skills."
