Rihanna has signed on for her first acting role, climbing aboard the big screen adaptation of the Hasbro board game, Battleship.
The 22-year-old will appear alongside True Blood hunk Alexander Skarsgård and Friday Night Lights' Taylor Kitsch, who play brothers leading the fight for their planet's survival against an otherworldly force, reports E! News.

The action flick follows the premise of the board game with a fleet of ships doing battle with an armada of unknown origins.
