RIP Tony Soprano: James Gandolfini Dies Age 51 From Suspected Heart Attack

James Gandolfini has died from a suspected heart attack at age 51, according to multiple reports.
Deadline.com was first to report the news, claiming Gandolfini died early Tuesday in Italy.
The actor was in Europe attending the 59th Taormina Film Festival in Sicily and was booked to appear at an event this weekend.

Gandolfini was best known for his role as Tony Soprano in the hit HBO show, The Sopranos—he won 3 Emmys for his portrayal of the mob boss.

He also appeared in a number of movies over his career, including his first high profile role as a hit man in 1993's True Romance; Get Shorty; Zero Dark Thirty and The Mexican.
Gandolfini is survived by his wife Deborah Lin and their newborn daughter as well as his teenage son, Michael, from his first marriage to Marcy Wudarski.
