'On the Road' Movie Poster & New Photos Released of Garrett Hedlund, Sam Riley & Kristen Stewart!

This must mean we're getting closer to a release date, right? On the Road released new photos from the film on Wednesday along with an official movie poster.

OK! NEWS: GARRETT HEDLUND ON FILMING ON THE ROAD — "WE HAD THE FREEDOM TO FLY"

The photos come from a new Facebook site launched for the film that says "let the road trip begin!"

The Walter Salles movie is an adaptation of Jack Kerouac's On the Road and stars Garrett Hedlund, Sam Riley, Kristen Stewart, Tom Sturridge, Amy Adams, Kirsten Dunst, Viggo Mortensen, Elizabeth Moss and more.

On the Road tells the story of Sal Paradise (Sam) an aspiring New York writer who, after the death of his father, meets ex-con Dean Moriarty (Garret) and decides to join him on the road.

"Thirsting for freedom, they discover the world, the ecstasy of experience, the connectedness of humanity and ultimately themselves."

Unfortunately, any further information on the film is sparse. The movie trailer doesn't include the release date or even say "coming soon," but we hope this new Facebook page and Twitter for OTR will be filled with more updates shortly!

The previously released photo with Garrett, Sam and Kristen is still our favorite, but these photos are definitely helping us stay excited for this film!
