Robert Pattinson turns 25 — and girlfriend Kristen Stewart surprises him with a romantic night in their Toronto love nest.
They’ve finally acknowledged their real-life romance, but Twilight lovers Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart remain intensely private about the relationship they denied for so long. (Remember when they’d take separate cars and skulk around in hoodies under the cover of darkness?)
And so it’s only fitting that when Rob marked his 25th birthday on May 13, Kristen would orchestrate a secret celebration for two in the couple’s latest love nest, a $5,000-per-night suite at The Hazelton Hotel in the trendy Yorkville district of Toronto, where Rob is filming Cosmopolis.
With her Brit beau on the road promoting his current project, Water for Elephants, with Reese Witherspoon, Kristen and their rescue dog, Bear, arrived in early May to little fanfare (which was surprising, considering the ardent Twilight fans who follow Bella Swan’s every move). She then spent days planning the big night. “She kept to herself and was really polite to the staff,” a source on the scene tells OK!. “She had on a baseball cap and skinny jeans and did a good job of blending in.”

By May 8, when Rob showed up, she was all set to give him a special night filled with all of his passions: the music he loves, his favorite pasta and his brewski of choice. Of course, the couple did more than merely eat and do dishes.
“After dinner, Rob and Kristen curled up on the couch with Bear and watched movies,” the insider tells OK!. “Rob thought it was perfect!” But Kristen wasn’t finished spoiling the birthday boy: The next morning, she whipped up a full English breakfast.
