Among the host committee and supporters of this international endeavor included Sean Penn, Leonardo DiCaprio, Richard Gere, Nicole Kidman, Susan Sarandon and George Clooney from Cinema for Peace.
The logo is entitled “Free As a Man” — featuring a dove shaped into a palm with five fingers — and was created by Predrag Staki?, a 32-year-old freelance graphic designer from Belgrade, Serbia.
The Logo for Human Rights was launched from an online competition and voting process that began with more than 15,300 logo designs submitted by participants from more than 190 countries.
