UPDATE 1:17 p.m.: Despite the earlier report from Screen Daily that paired Robert Pattinson and Nicole Kidman in the erotically charged film Bel Ami, GossipCop.com reports that Nicole will not be appearing in the film. Kidman’s rep tells Gossip Cop that Bel Ami is “categorically not happening for her.”
The movie will be based on Guy de Maupassant's short story about power, seduction and ambition. The United Kingdon's multi-award winning theater directors Declan Donnellan and Nick Ormerod are directing the screenplay by Rachel Bennette.
