Robert Pattinson is a "Such a Talented Guy," Says Director of 'Bel Ami'

For those who are used to seeing Robert Pattinson in vampire-mode as Edward Cullen in the The Twilight Saga movies, get ready for a big change.
Robert's new upcoming film, Bel Ami, is going to be a whole different vibe for the actor and one that he is working really hard at.
In the 19th-century-based costume drama, the actor plays George Duroy, a poor ex-soldier who uses his looks to seduce high-society ladies, like Uma Thurman and Christina Ricci, and move his way up the corporate ladder.

The co-directors of the film, Declan Donnellan and Nick Ormerod, talked to STV and shared how immediately Robert took to the role so quickly. "Rob came very early on. He read the script and absolutely loved it and really related to the character. It was like a marriage immediately. He has always been wonderfully committed, and is a terrifically serious actor," shared Nick.

Continues Declan, “Very interestingly, he insisted on rehearsing for a whole month in London before we shot one single piece of film, which is very, very unusual for somebody who has as busy a schedule as he has."

Declan went on to say how incredible committed Rob was, and "couldn't have been a nicer guy or a more talented guy to work with!"
Sounds like Rob impressed his directors! Fame is definitely not going to his head, just like the Rob we all love.
