Remember the dating tips Robert Pattinson reportedly gave Justin Bieber? Looks like their face-to-face session did not happen, and the heartthrobs have never even met each other!

So how did this myth get started? With the following interview quote, reportedly said by JB.

“One day Robert Pattinson came up to me at a party and said, ‘For whatever reason, people love our hair and it’s always a great ice-breaker with girls.’ He is like, ‘Hey my name’s Robert. Want to touch my hair?’ I thought he was joking, but it really works, Justin reportedly told UK’s The People (via Celebuzz). “It’s funny. All the hair polls that are done is either me first and Robert second, or the other way around.”

But according to Rob, he did not offer The Biebs an love life advice.

"I've never met this guy. I saw that as well," Rob told MTV during a recent interview. "I was like, 'You're really famous, man — what are you doing? You don't need to use me to make up stories!'"

It looks like the story was made up as Justin's camp denies that the 16-year-old singing sensation ever received advice on his love life from the Twilight hunk.

"This never actually happened," a rep for Justin told E! News. "Justin never claimed to have met Robert."

We bet someday soon the heartthrobs will meet and make girls everywhere swoon. But for now, that has not happened.
