Hear that? It's the sound of German wedding bells ringing for Robert Redford and his girlfriend, Sibylle Szaggars, who were married over the weekend in Hamburg.
Robert, 72, and Sibylle, 51, were married by Pastor Frank Engelbrecht at the luxury Louis C. Jacob Hotel, Renate Massfeller of the St. Catherine Church tells the Associated Press.
Sibylle was born in Hamburg and is an abstract artist, whose work has been shown in Europe and the U.S. She now lives in Sundance, Utah, in the 1990s, where Robert is based. Robert is a veteran actor who has starred in such classics as Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid and The Way We Were. He founded the Sundance Institute in 1981 to create "an environment designed to foster independence, discovery and new voices in American film," according to its site.
