
Robin Williams to Have Heart Surgery

Robin Williams' condition has gone from shortness of breath, as reported earlier this week, to serious surgery: the funnyman has just postponed the remainder of his comedy tour in order to undergo surgery for an aortic valve replacement, his rep says.
The statement also says: "I'm so touched by everyone's support and well wishes. This tour has been amazing fun and I can't wait to get back out on the road after a little tune-up."

Robin postponed five shows earlier this week after complaining of shortness of breath, and was reportedly moved to the Intensive Care Unit of a Florida hospital.
