NEWSA-Rod & Madonna Are "Just Friends"

Now that Madonna has moved on to 22-year-old Jesus Luz and Alex Rodriguez has more troubling things to worry about regarding his career, the Yankee seems to be opening up just a little bit about his relationship with the 50-year-old pop star.
"Well, we're friends," he admits in a new interview on Details.com. "She's an amazing entertainer. And it's been amazing how she's been able to stay on top for three decades. I have a lot of respect for her."

As for his current situation – he tested positive for a banned substance recently – maybe Madge could help him out, as she's a good person to talk to.
"She's very smart," he reveals, "and she's passionate about everything she does." Perhaps Madonna would be a good person to turn to now, as he says, "if there ever was any situation" he'd need advice in, "she's a great ear to have, you know?"
Somewhere, we can hear Madonna's phone ringing...
