Rod Stewart is a daddy again! The rocker, 66, and his wife Penny Lancaster, 29, welcomed a son Wednesday in the UK. This is the couple's second child together, and Rod's eighth time becoming a dad!
Baby Aiden weighed in at seven pounds, 12 ounces.
"After the long-awaited arrival of their second child, Rod and Penny are proud and thrilled to welcome Alastair's baby brother, Aiden, into the world," a statement released on the couple's behalf stated, via BBC News. "Mother and baby are healthy and blissfully happy."
Aiden is Rod and Penny's second child, giving five-year-old Alastair has a little brother to play with!
After having difficulty conceiving their second child, Penny became pregnant on the third cycle of IVF treatment.
Rod married Penny, his third wife, in 2007 in Italy.
He has six children from previous relationships — a son and a daughter with first wife Alana Hamilton, a daughter in 1987 with model girlfriend Kelly Emberg, two children with Rachel Hunter, and a daughter, Sarah, who was born in the early 1960s, who was adopted into another family.
