Sadly, Rosie's fiancée, Michelle Rounds, has been diagnosed with desmoid tumors, a rare kind of ailment that forms on the arms, legs, abdomen or chest and can invade surrounding tissues and organs.
On her blog, Rosie described the tumors as "odd and curious beasts, strong and sneaky a non cancer that acts cancerous."
Michelle underwent surgery in June and Rosie reports she's recovering and "getting stronger everyday."
The two plan to wed next summer.
