Actress Tara Reid is no stranger to internet rumors, most of them wildly false. However, earlier this week, some portions of the World Wide Web were abuzz with whispers and unconfirmed reports that the blonde beauty had been hospitalized with some odd illness during a recent trip to Bali. However, when OK! spoke to Tara over the phone on Wednesday, she was far from either a hospital or Bali.
"I'm in Italy right now," she explained to OK!. "Relaxing and getting ready to spend Christmas with some friends."

As for any ideas where this rumor came from, Tara was indeed in Bali recently — for a photo shoot to be featured in the pages of an upcoming issue of OK! — and she did see a doctor. "I slipped at the pool," she confesses, "I saw a physician and I'm fine.'
