Russell Armstrong's Body Wasn't Found Until More Than a Day After His Death, Coroner Says

The latest news surrounding Russell Armstrong's death only makes it even more tragic. According to the Los Angeles Chief Coroner, Russel's body wasn't found until more than 24 hours after his death.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Taylor Armstrong's estranged husband was found hanged in a bedroom of his friend's house on Monday night.

But Harvey Craig, Los Angeles Chief Coroner Investigator, tells E! News that Russell's body wasn't found until more than a day after he committed suicide.

"Based on what I read I would assume that he had been dead for more than 24 hours," he said.

Russell failed to show for a meeting with Taylor on Monday afternoon. Taylor and her friends began searching for him and eventually found him hanging from a wooden beam in the Mullholland Drive home.

Taylor filed for divorce from Russell last month and his attorney, Ronald Richards, told E! News "he was always disappointed with the divorce and financial issues.

He was 47 years old and leaves behind three children.
