While Katy Perry's career couldn't be any hotter, it looks like her ex-husband Russell Brand is making headlines for his off-screen shenanigans.

GossipCop confirmed that Russell has been arrested in New Orleans after allegedly wrestling a paparazzi's cell phone and throwing it through a window! The comedian actually turned himself in.

The Sherriff's office indicated he was booked and is expected to be released soon. Actually, an earlier arrest warrant was issued for the British comic who was charged with "simple criminal damage" to the tune of $700.
This isn't the first scuffle he's had with photogs. In 2010, he got ruffled up at LAX airport after a photographer tried to shoot pictures of Katy Perry's skirt.
