Russell, who was being honored as the fun fearless male of the year, was asked about the rumor that Charlie wanted to crash his recent Saturday Night Live appearance. Russell said that he "believed it was true."

Charlie could probably use someone like Russell's support right now after being fired officially from his job on Two and Half Men on Monday afternoon.
Last week, Charlie told Radar Online that Russell was a "b*tchin dude."
With that sentiment, we assume Charlie respects Cosmo's pick of Russell as fun, fearless male of 2011. When asked what his wife Katy Perry thought of the award, Russell told reporters, "I don't know. She has not expressed an opinion."
