Jackass star Ryan Dunn was legally drunk at the time of the crash, according to police officials.
Ryan's blood alcohol level was "more than twice the legal limit" when his 2007 Porsche crashed on a Chester County highway Monday morning, killing him and his passenger, 30-year-old Zachary Hartwell, early Monday morning, West Goshen Township police said, via Philly.com.
Toxicology results were released today revealing the 34-year-old West Chester resident had a blood alcohol level of 0.196, double state's limit of .08.
Police said Ryan's level of intoxication, combined with driving at speeds of more than 130 miles per hour, likely caused the fatal crash.
Ryan's Porsche flew over a guardrail, hit a tree and burst into flames in West Goshen Township, Penn., before 3 a.m. Monday, and preliminary autopsy results revealed Ryan and Zach died of blunt force trauma and thermal damage.
Ryan and his friend were spotted drinking hours before the wreck at Barnaby's of America in West Chester, and even Tweeted a picture of themselves drinking at the bar.
One of Ryan’s friends told TMZ that he allegedly had “three beers and three shots” before getting behind the wheel.
Ryan's Jackass co-star and best friend Bam Margera returned to the scene of the fatal accident yesterday and had a breakdown.

"I've never lost anybody that I care about. He’s my best friend,” Bam said in a video interview with myFOXphilly.com, Tuesday from the crash scene.
He continued: “He was the happiest person ever, the smartest person, with so much talent. He had so many things going for him. It’s just not right, it’s not right.”
Bam's mom, April Margera, is also grieving, as Ryan was like a son to her.
"I hope all kids are listening and will learn a lesson from this," she told Philly.com. "No one should take unnecessary chances. I hope something positive can come from this tragedy."
