Ryan Gosling & Emma Stone Share a Steamy Kiss in the Official 'Gangster Squad' Trailer!

Just when you thought to yourself, "Where's Ryan Gosling been?" the hunky star pops back into the spotlight!

In the for the upcoming movie, Gangster Squad, Ryan shows us that he's back in action and ready to nab yet another Oscar nomination.

In the movie, also starring greats like Sean Penn, Josh Brolin, and Nick Nolte, Ryan plays an LAPD cop, Sgt. Jerry Wooters, who works with the authorities to keep East Coast Mafia types, like Mickey Cohen (Sean), out of Los Angeles in the 1940s and 50s.  

But of course, no Ryan Gosling flick would be complete without some romance, which comes along with the help of Emma Stone, who plays his love interest (again — remember Crazy, Stupid, Love?). The producers even gave us a sneak peek of their steamy sex scene!

Gangster Squad is based off of the Los Angeles Times' seven-part series "Tales from the Gangster Squad" by writer Paul Lieberman, and is directed by Ruben Fleischer.
