Ryan Lochte's mom, Ike Lochte, talked pretty frankly with The Today Show this morning about her famous, gold medal-winning son.
While she had loads of wonderful things to say about the soon-to-be 28-year-old (his birthday is tomorrow), she may have stuck her foot in her mouth when discussing Ryan's, er, sex life.
“He goes out on one-night stands,” she said. “He’s not able to give fully to a relationship because he’s always on the go.”
She continued, saying he doesn't have time for a relationship because he does "everything to the max" and right now, that's swimming.
“He’s unique, loving and he challenges himself all the time," she gushed.

While not outing himself as promiscuous, Ryan was super candid as well during a rapid-fire Q and A with Women's Health last month.
Not only does he admit to sleeping mostly naked and having a celebrity crush on Carmen Electra, he also confesses to swapping sex stories with his teammates and being pretty confused when it comes to the opposite sex.
"It's impossible to know what they're thinking," he said. "If I could have one superpower, I'd be like Mel Gibson in What Women Want, where he reads women's minds."
