Ryan Reynolds on Commando 'Green Lantern' Stunt Guy: "Strap That Thing Down"

Ryan Reynolds had quite a traumatic experience on the set of Green Lantern. The Hollywood heartthrob stopped by Late Show With David Letterman to promote his latest blockbuster and shared a very funny story about a 6-foot-10-inch stuntman who liked to go commando while shooting action scenes with Ryan.
Ryan began to explain to host David Letterman about the tight, motion-capture suits the cast had to wear during action scenes.
"We look sort of like these crash-test dummies who lost their Volvo," he quipped. "These things are really, really unforgiving. They are as tight as you can imagine."
The cast shot most of their fight scenes wearing the suits.
"One of these aliens that I fight in this film is supposed to be 9 feet tall, and he is played by a stunt guy who was already 6-foot-10," he explained. "So he is already massive, but they put him on these stilts that make him 9 feet tall."

He continued: "And for some reason, early on he made the decision he was going to go commando the whole time. It was borderline sexual harassment."
"And I'm crotch level at this guy, because he is 9 or 10 feet tall," he added. "It looks like he strapped a baby's leg to his waist."
Ryan said the commando stuntman was so distracting that he actually had to talk to someone on set about it.
"I had to go out and talk to the stunt coordinator and tell him to get this guy to strap that thing down," he said to the roar of the audience. "This is freaking me out. He is jumping on top of me. He is smashing me to the ground. I didn't sign up for this."
