Sam said Jamie "barged into the house, lunged at me with fists balled, and chased me around the kitchen island", while the two argued over who should take care of Brit. "He was spitting, shouting and angry, saying I'd better leave Britney alone or he'd beat the hell out of me," he continued.

"He came in, started yelling at me, accusing me that I was abusing his wife Lynne, cornered me in the kitchen, punched me in the chest and threatened to kill me," Sam added.

Sam, is suing Britney and her parents for breach of contract, libel and defamation stemming from comments Brit's mom wrote in her 2008 book, Through the Storm: A Real Story of Fame and Family in a Tabloid World, which he claims forced him to endure "unfathomable amounts of ridicule and public scorn."

According to RadarOnline.com, Sam broke down on the stand a few times on Wednesday saying the remarks about him in Lynne's book resulted in a "huge spike in death threats, mainly from Britney's fans...and people wished harm on my family," which made him feel  "depressed, anxious and suicidal."
