Sarah Palin Invites Levi Johnston Over for Thanksgiving

Having your daughter's baby daddy over for Thanksgiving might be a little awkward — even more so if you're Sarah Palin and the dad in question, Levi Johnston, is posing for Playgirl and has been quite vocal about about his estranged relationship with the Palin family. But Sarah's not sweating the small stuff, or so she tells Oprah Winfrey in an interview airing Nov. 16. "It's lovely to think that he would ever even consider such a thing," the former Alaska governor says.
"Because he is a part of the family and you want to bring him in the fold and kind of under your wing," she adds. "And he needs that, too, Oprah. I think he needs to know that he is loved and he has the most beautiful child and this can all work out for good."
Perhaps the family can work out all the bitter back-and-forth sniping that's been going on, or at least Sarah hopes so.
"We don't have to keep going down this road of controversy and drama all the time," she says. "We're not really into the drama. We don't really like that. We're more productive. We have other things to concentrate on."
