Scarlett Johansson Works With What She's Got

In a new interview with Glamour, blonde bombshell Scarlett Johansson says she tries to maintain her beauty rather than change it. And judging by her devoted fans, she's doing a great job!
"I can’t look at somebody who is 6 feet tall and 120 pounds and say, I’m going to get that body. That’s just never going to happen," she tells Glamour. "You have to work with what you’ve got."
"I want to look good, obviously," she admits. "I don’t want to look at the screen and go, Oh, my skin looks terrible, or, I look exhausted. That’s why I take care of myself when I work. But I don’t feel the obligation to be a specific weight. I don’t feel like I have to fit into a body that’s not my body. I have the body I have and I try to maintain it."
Scarlett's view of her body is an attitude that not many other actors can follow.
"If you open up a magazine and there’s a photograph of you with a giant red circle around your thigh, like, look at this cellulite, any person — I don’t care what you do — would be mortified," she argues. "It’s no wonder people get crazy about it."
While her weight has been under scrutiny as she trained for her role in Iron Man 2, Scarlett ignored the rumors that she was crash dieting and focused on her career. She says, "I wanted to do a lot of my stunts and to be believable as this superspy, so I started getting fit and eating well and feeling really good."

Scarlett's feel-good mentality expands to every aspect of her life including her marriage to Ryan Reynolds. "I never really thought about getting married — it just kind of happened. It seemed natural, the right thing to do. It was kind of a celebration of the time."
While enjoying her new life with Ryan, Scarlett has also been enjoying a musical life with Pete Yorn. The two recently made an album together -- yes, she can sing as well!
"He said he had some weird fever dream — and had this idea that we should do a duets album," she says of Pete's proposal to work together. "When I started singing along to the songs he was playing me, he said, “I’m really happy that you can sing!”"
Scarlett sure knows how to work with the many talents she's got!
