Merely days before she's set to present at the Oscars, Scarlett Johansson's father collapsed near his NYC home on Wednesday night. She was in L.A. at the time.

The New York Post reports Karsten Johansson, 67, fell face first in the street after his knees buckled in the West Village. The divorced Danish-born architect suffered a huge gash as workers from an apartment and restaurant rushed over to help.
