Screenwriter Diablo Cody Takes on New Role: Director

Remember razor sharp dialogue from 2007's hit movie, Juno starring Ellen Page and Michael Cera? Screenwriter Diablo Cody snagged an Oscar for penning that script and now the scribe is at it again! This time she's trying on a director's hat for size as she makes her directorial debut for Lamb of God.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Diablo also write the script which is based on a conservative religious woman who starts to question her faith. After a plane crash, she makes up her mind to try out life as a sinner in Las Vegas.

In another project, Cody wrote an upcoming comedy, Young Adult, starring Charlize Theron and Patrick Wilson. It's being directed by Jason Reitman, the same director who worked with Cody on Juno.
